IBBC attend roundtable discussion on Iraqi architectural urban heritage & international collaboration between the UK & Iraq at Chatham House

IBBC attended a roundtable discussion on Iraqi architectural urban heritage & international collaboration between the UK & Iraq on Tuesday 14 August, chaired by Renad Mansour, Research Fellow at Chatham House and supported by Eleanor Robson, Director of the Nahrein Network: New Ancient History Research for Education in Iraq and its Neighbours.

The meeting was organised by Chatham House and the Nahrein Network to discuss ways to strengthen international collaboration and partnerships in relation to rehabilitating Iraq’s heritage. The roundtable discussion was an opportunity to listen to two Advisors in the Prime Minister’s Office in Baghdad who are working on efforts to rebuild Mosul and to protect Iraq’s rich cultural heritage.
