Iraq Britain Business Council hosted a lunch for members and guests on 15 May with guest speaker Nia Griffith MP, Shadow Secretary of State for Defence, which was organised by the Industry Forum.

Ms Griffith, who has held the role of Shadow Secretary of State since 2016, spoke thoroughly and thoughtfully on the United Kingdom’s defence policy and the need to continuously adapt to evolving threats to security.

Mr Andrew Farquar, Managing Director of IBBC member GardaWorld, co-hosted the event alongside IBBC.

Representatives from several IBBC member organisations were present, including from Constellis, HWH & Associates, Petrofac and Wood.
