IBBC regularly undertakes trade missions to Iraq to further the business interests of its members and to facilitate dialogue with influential Iraqi political and industry figures.

Delegations meet with ministers and high-ranking officials to discuss future policies and opportunities for growth as well as focusing on business opportunities for IBBC member companies.

IBBC arranges B2B meetings, facilitates essential personal contact with potential customers and partners, promotes company profiles and provides extensive networking opportunities for delegates who join the Trade Mission.

Delegations are usually led by Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, President of IBBC and the Prime Minister’s Trade Envoy to Iraq, Christophe Michels, Managing Director and Rasmi Al Jabri, Deputy Chairman of IBBC. IBBC’s access to high ranking politicians and decision makers is an integral part of membership benefits of the council, which IBBC strives to facilitate at numerous opportunities.

Destinations cover all principal locations in Iraq including the Kurdistan Region.
