Dr Renad Mansour, Research Fellow at Chatham House, discusses key challenges and opportunities for Iraq after the nationwide elections on 12 May 2018. Dr Mansour talks about wider election trends, the lack of change facilitated by elections and what the Iraqi population want to see from the future political establishment. Dr Mansour also talks about the need to build strong state institutions to help Iraq develop in the future.
