Zaid Elyaseri, Country Manager BP Iraq, discusses the success of the conference and BP’s recent contribution towards Iraq. He also comments on the high ranking Iraqi Government delegation and large turnout of Iraqi delegates, a positive sign for Iraqi British relations. Zaid also highlights BP’s mission of increasing production, generating 200 billion dollars worth of revenue for the government, working with the local companies, which BP has awarded 4 billion dollars worth to local contractors and improving the capabilities of the local workforce, which BP has spent 2.5 million dollars on training programmes.
